The Journey with Maher Zain

Pada bulan April lepas aku pergi ke London untuk attend Send A Little Hope Concert.  Konsert ni menampilkan Maher Zain ( the main reason why we attend :) ), Mesut Kurtis, Raef, Hamza Namera, dan Irfan Makki.  The concert was awesome!!!  Ini first time aku pergi konsert, so aku tak tahu nak bandingkan dengan mana-mana konsert.

The main aim for this concert is to help orphans to escape the poverty like in Bangladesh and Pakistan.  The orphanage are really poor, you even can't imagine how they manage to live in that situation.  They got no electricity, no running water or proper sanitation and parts of the roof have been destroyed in storms.  They live in starvation and total poverty.  So, on that night, they hold about 30 minutes of the concert to raise a fund for the orphanage.  First, they announced that who are going to pledge that he/she will provide a fund about GBP 50000.  There was one person raised the hand.  Alhamdulillah.  Then, the emcee announced the next amount GBP 25000.  The amount goes on until GBP200.  They managed to collect about more than GBP 100000.  Alhamdulillah.......



The show began with Irfan Makki.  Dia nyanyi lagu bahasa arab, so aku meme tak faham la. Then, Mesut Kurtis pun nyanyi.  Aku tak minat sangat diorang ni.  Raef pun ada yang nyanyi lagu Jumuah, I'm yours, With you versi Islamic tu.  Best suara diorang ni, sama macam dengar kat You Tube...so , tak rugi la pergi tengok ni. Then, Hamza Namera nyanyi...dalam otak aku ni bilalah Maher Zain nak keluar ni.   But then, bila Hamza ni nyanyi,...OMG!!!best giler...muzik dia matlah best dan dia macam ada aura masa buat persembahan tu.  Ramai rupanya peminat dia, siap bangun dan bertepuk macam nak joget siap... dia penyanyi arab, so muzik arab ni, yang macam nak joget je.  Bila audience bertepuk dan sorak dia, Hamza ni macam malu-malu je, dia senyum sweet giler...huhuhu...cair weh, terus minat dia ( balik je, terus buka You Tube dengar lagu dia..hahaha).  Ni gambarnya:

Dalam pukul 8 malam gitu, konsert stop kejap pasal waktu maghrib dah masuk.  Aku terpegun gila dengan pengurusan event ni. Terdiam aku dengan kawan aku tu.  Kami macam jumpa Islam di negara asing, tak terfikir pun yang event macam ni boleh ada kt UK, yang mana Islam itu asing.  Subhanallah.  Then, emcee tu laungkan azan...then, audience pun pergi lah tunaikan solat maghrib.  Solat di merata-rata tempat, yelah mana nak cari surau kat sini.

Lepas solat tu, Maher Zain buat persembahan :)....Best giler. Dia nyanyi mostly lagu dalam album baru dia tu:Forgive me.  Sikit je yang lagu dulu-dulu.  Dalam 12 lagu la dia nyanyi....

So, puas hati lah pergi konsert ni dan dapat lihat all muslims around the world, buka mata yang Islam itu bukan terletak pada bangsa. Islam is islam.  Alhamdulillah.  Kami balik pukul 11.30malam, then terkejar;kejar naik tube untuk balik ke hotel.
